SHRIMPS CREOLE

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb shrimps cleaned & cooked
  • 14 cup green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon chopped scotch bonnet pepper
  • 12 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 can tomato sauce 14 oz. AYITI CHERI
  • 12 cup water
  • 12 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 18 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 bay leaf

      DIRECTIONS

  1. Sauté bell pepper, Scotch Bonnet pepper, onion, and garlic in butter, for 3-5 minutes.
  2. Add tomato sauce, water, sugar, seasonings, and bay leaf.
  3. Simmer 20-25 minutes, stirring often.
  4. Add shrimp and simmer 10 minutes longer.
  5. Remove bay leaf.
  6. Serve with Jasmine Rice AYITI CHERI and enjoy!
